Deepwater Horizon leak May 8
This video was shot of the so-called crater plume, the main Gulf of Mexico oil leak, on May 8, before dispersants were added to the oil or a 4-inch pipe was inserted to draw some of the oil to the surface. BP has said 85 percent of the leaking oil is coming from this break in the well's "riser" pipe. Another leak is near the blowout preventer. (May 18, 2010)
